Fragrance Evaluation
Client Need:
A large consumer products company which markets a wide range of lotions and creams found itself forced to replace one of its contract manufacturers. Unfortunately, the contractor owned the fragrance formulation and refused to release the information needed to duplicate it. On the recommendation of another Artiste client, the company sought our help to develop a comparable, workable fragrance.
Artiste’s Solution:
We analyzed the existing product and developed several replacement fragrances for their evaluation. We worked with them to integrate their final selection into the products. Sales of their lotions and creams moved forward without a wrinkle.
Aroma of Fresh Coffee
Client Need:
A certain industry-leading restaurant management company commissioned us to develop a system to fill their coffee shops with the aroma of fresh coffee, to provide a pleasant environment and to attract more customers into the shop.
Artiste’s Solution:
We created an inviting flavor/fragrance that was capable of being introduced into the environment, then worked with their engineering firm to develop the atomizing system to deliver it. The effect on sales has been a real eye-opener.
Kaffir Lime Oil from Indonesia
Client Need:
A large consumer products retailer approached Artiste for assistance in developing a soup product with all-natural ingredients for the Asian category. They were specifically looking for a different and unique citrus note, one that would be readily identifiable as Asian.
Artiste’s Solution:
After researching citrus from around the world, we recommended the use of Kaffir Lime Oil from Indonesia and provided a sample for their pilot work. The flavor was well-received and performed perfectly in the formulation. Sales performance has been invigorating to date.
Coffee-based Cosmetics
Client Need:
A well-known personal-care company was looking for a coffee-based ingredient for a cosmetic application. The critical component was caffeine, given that the benefits it provides on rejuvenating the skin.
Artiste’s Solution:
We found a company in Thailand which employs a proprietary process to produce specialized coffee oil with a caffeine level of 16%, considerably higher than the standard products in the market. This product was tested and approved, resulting in high-energy sales for the client.
